Some News...

"Obama lifts a ban on U.S. entry of those with HIV/AIDS"
It was about time... After 22 years, this restriction ends. Finally it is understood that fear cannot rule, that it can't be the foundation of anything.
Now people will seek treatment, they won't be afraid to get tested.. The consequence of being HIV positive is not to be completely discriminated - even though we all know that people that are HIV positive or have AIDS are treated differently, nevertheless a step is about to be taken.

"Karzai rival Abdullah quits Afgan run-off"
After his demand being denied - another Election Comission, suspect of favoring Karzai - Abdullah quits. From what I've heard there won't be any legitimacy for the next government, it will be a second round with only one candidate - even though Hillary Clinton has said that it had also happened in the USA so it wouldn't be a problem... - with the same Election Comission that of "independent" has little..if the credibility of the process is at stake how can the "winner" be legitimated to govern?
It seems, as Abdullah says, that "transparent election is not possible".

"Palestinian accuse U.S. of killing peace prospects"
It's urgent that some achievement is reached in the Palestinian Question. It appears to me that Barack Obama, despite giving great importance to the Middle-East conflict, is acting upon fear and he cannot continue to defend Israel's position.
It is time to act, more than to think.
